Bomber's Moon

About

'What would Hitler want with East Belfast? Wait until he comes up against the girls from the Belfast Ropeworks. Sadie "Minty" Murray likes a dance and a wee glass of stout at the weekend. No one messes with that. Not even the Luftwaffe'.

'A Bomber's Moon', by Trevor Gill and Sam Robinson is an East Belfast love story set during the catastrophic German air raids on the city in 1941. It tells the story of 20-year-old Sadie 'Minty' Murray as she loses her innocence, finds love amidst smoke and rubble, and realises that her hero father, "Jangling Jamesy", isn't the man she thought he was. Disturbing, surprising and outrageously funny.

'A Bomber's Moon' is brought to you by the writers of the sold out and highly acclaimed, "One Saturday Before the War" and, "Stuck in the Middle with You".
