About

Long before RMS Titanic sailed for New York in 1912, people, ideas, materials and industries travelled across the Atlantic between Ulster and America. Emigrants carried skills that helped shape the growth of the United States, while expanding American markets transformed Belfast into one of the world's great industrial cities.

Through stories of revolutionary figures, shipbuilders and Titanic passengers, this display explores the enduring relationship between Belfast and America - from the American Revolution to the age of ocean liners. This is a free event located on level 1 of Titanic Belfast.
