An Introduction To Esports (Ages: 8-14)

Step into the world of competitive gaming! Explore popular first-person shooter (FPS) games, discover what makes a great esports teammate, and learn about the skills, training routines and healthy habits of professional players. Put your reflexes to the test with aim-training games and find out what it takes to compete at the highest level. No previous esports experience required.

KIPPIE work to inspire young people to explore the exciting world of games. Engaging, inclusive opportunities encourage creativity and develop valuable STEM and digital skills while showing how a passion for gaming can lead to future careers.

Ages: 8-14 / Duration: 90 mins.

Start Time: 3.00pm (Exit Time: 4.30pm).

Venue: Ulster Museum, Learning Zone

This is a drop-off workshop. Parent/guardian supervision is not required. On the day of the workshop, parent/guardian will be asked to fill in a contact details registration form before the event.
