Explore the hidden world of their costumes that their visitor guides wear and discover why they are such an important part of the Folk Museum. You'll see where their costumes are made, repaired and designed, along with a wide range of garments linked to our historic exhibit buildings. Learn why they are worn in different locations across the museum, from the blacksmith in the forge to the stitchers in the dressmaker's house. You'll also get to see some of the original items that costumes are based on.
