Drawing on Film: Cameraless Animation Workshop (For Ages: 7-12)

Get creative - scratching, marking and sticking stuff directly onto strips of celluloid film! This fun, hands on workshop explores the tactile nature of physical film. Participants will work together testing a variety of techniques and unusual materials to create abstract animation without digital media. The session finishes by splicing the film and screening the animation through a projector revealing an explosion of colour, movement and light.

Ages: 7-12 / Duration: 90 mins.

Start Time: 10.15am (Exit Time: 11.45am).

Venue: Ulster Museum, Learning Zone

This is a drop-off workshop. Parent/guardian supervision is not required. On the day of the workshop, parent/guardian will be asked to fill in a contact details registration form before the event.
