About
Created as a direct response to the mass media coverage of the 200% increase in domestic violence and 500% in hate crime across Northern Ireland during the 2020 Covid Lockdown. This collection by Belfast Documentary Visual Artist, Lise McGreevy, aims to help bring NI's female majority (52%) together, to stand as one in promoting female equality across all sectors of our wider community. By focusing on female emotional dexterity and the emotions that are felt by ALL females (and males). It aims to unite us all across creed, colour, religion and sexual orientation. It is a part of phase 1 of McGreevy's educational, creative Programme, I AM WOMAN. Which facilitates exhibitions, artist's talks and creative and educational workshops to bring participants together. To keep female equality high in the public eye and on the political agenda.
As a tourist attraction, Belfast Cathedral has a minimum charge of £5 entrance fee at the door. Please call the venue or check online for opening hours as these might change.
