Tour guide with gorup of visitors outside City Hall

About

They came up with the idea of offering a walking tour with a difference after having taken many tours in Belfast and throughout Europe. In 2019, they completed an OCN Level 2 in Tour Guiding and began leading the walking tour in 2020.

Belfast is famous around the world for the Troubles and the Titanic. However, this Belfast walking tour is not based on either of these major events. Instead, it focuses on interesting and unusual stories that have taken place in the city, from as recently as three years ago to as far back as 350 years.

This is neither a conflict tour nor a historical tour; it is a tour that shares stories about events connected to the buildings themselves. Every city has buildings with wonderful stories to tell, and Belfast is no exception.

While visiting Belfast, guests are invited to join the If Buildings Could Talk Tour, where the guide shares the stories the buildings might tell. Tourists find the Belfast walking tour highly engaging, and locals are often surprised to learn the stories behind buildings they pass every day without realising their significance. By the end of the tour, everyone leaves with their own favourite story.

Belfast is a flat city, making this walking tour relaxed and easy-going. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately for Belfast weather and wear comfortable footwear for a two-hour, two-mile walk.
