About
The event will take place from 10.30am until 12.30pm on Saturday, August 8th. Anyone who knows Corinne's work will know the vibrance achievable with this technique – something she is looking forward to sharing!
This is an opportunity for anyone with an interest in nerikomi to try their hands without getting them dirty. Nerikomi is a traditional hand building Japanese technique of forming patterns with coloured clay which can be used to create any number of different designs – and the colours will be ready-mixed.
In this small and relaxed workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of making a nerikomi pattern cane and then turn it into a small functional dish to take home. All of the tools and materials will be provided, and Corinne will be on hand to help.
Only 5 spaces available – early booking is recommended!
No prior experience necessary. The firing of up to two dishes included in the price. Tea and coffee provided.
Please note – under 18's must be accompanied by a participating adult.
