A third generation from the Buckley musical dynasty! Saxophonist Leon has followed in the family tradition of saxophone, after his father Michael Buckley and grandfather Dick Buckley; musicians who set the standard for jazz musicians of their generation.

Now in his final year at Dublin City University's jazz degree, Leon has become a popular fixture on the Dublin jazz circuit, and is already making a name for himself further afield.

We're delighted to showcase Leon and his quartet at Scott's Jazz Club as part of our JAZZ FUTURES series where we give the next generation of jazz musicians a spotlight; and a chance for you to hear the jazz musicians everyone will be talking about within a few years.
