We welcome Simon Mayo to the festival for a career retrospective celebrating more than four decades on air.

Mayo has been a familiar voice to generations of listeners. His much-loved Radio 1 shows of the 1980s and 1990s helped define an era of broadcasting. He went on to become known for his acclaimed film conversations with Mark Kermode, alongside his work across radio, television and success as a novelist.

Hosted by broadcaster Ralph McLean, the evening features archive clips on the QFT's big screen, conversation, audience Q&A and a book signing opportunity.
