You'll begin outdoors with a mindful recording session and a wildlife walk around the Ulster Folk Museum site. Learn some of the techniques used to capture and record data about species in their natural habitat.

Bring along your phone as you'll discuss the different apps and tools you can use for wildlife recording.

In the afternoon, you'll dissect owl pellets and learn how to identify the remains of the small mammals they've eaten, contributing data to the NI Mammal Recording Scheme.
