Áras Uí Chonghaile is an award-winning modern, inspirational, visitor centre based in the heart of Belfast's Gaeltacht Quarter and located only yards from where James Connolly lived on the Falls Road.

The James Connolly Experience immerses you into the life and history of one of Ireland's greatest trade union and political leaders. Áras Uí Chonghaile's audio tour guides you through the world class exhibition, to the unique library, Leabharlann Uí Chonghaile and through the art and historic collections.

The tour introduces you to many interactive features and historic artefacts including the RTÉ video archive, the Transatlantic Voyager and an original Irish Proclamation and the rare printing blocks the printed it.

The audio tour is available in 9 different languages: English, Irish, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Italian, Polish, Basque and German.

Opening times: Monday to Friday: 9am – 4pm (last entry 3pm) Saturday 10am – 2pm (last entry 1pm)
