The orchestra is made up of some of the best young musicians in Northern Ireland with many of today's established local musicians having cut their teeth with the ensemble.

Fresh from last year's concerts which included opening for the Ulster Orchestra, this afternoon concert in the MAC will include music from Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Oliver Nelson and Kenny Wheeler alongside classic big band swing featuring a range of vocalists and instrumental soloists.
